The difference with Scott’s son is that, a year ago, he did not even acknowledge Amanda’s birthday, but this year was part of the celebration and even bought her a cake. Amanda also has let go of the expectations she had of him and cheers him on in his life and career, and recognizes and acknowledges his accomplishments. We thank Dr. Beth and her wisdom in helping us sort through the different dynamics of us all coming together. We would not be where we are today without her assistance and our willingness to find love again. You have our eternal gratitude.
